Happy Mother's Day

This blog usually is all about the twins. But in honor of Mother's day I would like to talk about my mom. She is the best mom anyone could possibly have. The twins love spending time with her and Opa. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Well I believe that is true and Granny is one of our best villagers. Thank-you mom for being so awesome. Christmas 2010

It was a whole week of Christmas at the Giles house. Aunite Jenn came to visit so we celebrated Christmas a little early with her on the 20th. Granny cooked an awesome Turkey Dinner. Then we got on with the presents! Granny, Piper and her new baby.

Then Austin and Harmony came to stay, so we did it all again. This time with Christmas morning waffles and whipped cream... then onto the presents... again!

What a wonderful week of Christmas, but now we are back to us four. We spent a very quiet Christmas day in our p.j.'s...and now it is boxing day and it is shaping up to be another wonderful p.j. day. We feel very blessed to have such a wonderful family and we are all looking forward to 2011 and what it might bring. We wish all the best for all our family and friends and look forward to seeing you all in 2011.

Today we went for a picnic in the park and then to the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Even though the weather was a bit chilly it didn't stop us from having eating a terrific feast prepared by granny. Birthday cake for Jessica was for dessert. Mmmm yummy cake Opa!
